1. The Indian Air Force Regional Placement Cell has been established at HQ Training Command, Bangalore. This Cell assists the retired and shortly retiring Officers and Airmen to find a suitable job in the corporate world.

2. The aim of this cell is to offer FREE Placement services for retiring/retired personnel of Indian Air Force. This office has a large database of personnel having experience in avionics, IT, technical, communication, logistics, HR, finance, management, administration etc with good academic qualifications (MBA/MCA/PGDBM /M Tech etc).

3. This office can provide skilled and disciplined manpower having minimum 15/20 years experience in the following fields:

• Flying

• Navigation

• Air Traffic Control

• Avionics

• Air Frame

• Engine

• Mechanical

• Electronics

• Communication

• HRM

• Administration

• House Keeping

• Finance

• Education

• Store Management

• Logistics Management

• Transport Management/Driving

• Security

• Catering

• Fire fighting etc.

4. Large number of our personnel have already entered into the pay roll of major companies like Reliance, ICICI, ITC, Uni-Lever, Su-Kam, Godrej, ICFAI, Air India, HCL, Infosys and various other MNCs.

5. As you know, the personnel from Armed Forces are known for their honesty, integrity, sincerity, dedication, team spirit and leadership qualities. From the feedback received from various companies, we are happy to know and pronounce that, these personnel still continue with the same zest, in their second career also. Needless to say, the dedication and hard work proved by Air Force personnel “To be a cut above others” has prompted the companies to revert back to us with more requests. In order to facilitate the companies and ex-servicemen to have direct interaction, it has been proposed to organize a Job Fair on 29 and 30 Mar 08 at HQ Training Command IAF, JC Nagar (Mekhri Circle, Bellary Road), Hebbal, Bangalore. Approximately 5000 personnel, both Officers as well as Airmen, are expected at attend the fair.

6. It will be a great opportunity for you since you will be able to handpick the candidates of your choice from the large number of trained manpower. This will also alleviate the wastage of time and labour, which otherwise could not have been avoided. You could come with your HR team and select the right candidate on the spot and shortlist for future employment.
